Chanakya National Law University National Parliamentary debate winner DSNLU
|
Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University won the 13th edition of the Chanakya National Law University National Parliamentary debate, which was held from 25 September 2022 to 28 September 2022. Two teams consisting of 10 members represented the university in the competition. The university team was composed of Anjali Gurumoorthy, Angela Elsa John and K.K. Prahalad won the debate. On the other hand, the runners-up was won by the 2nd team of DSNLU, consisting of Arthi. G, Elsa Sibu and Eshita Milinda. Elsa Sibu also bagged the prestigious award of Best Speaker for the tournament.
Antara Ranjan chaired the Open Grand Finals and won the accolade of 2nd best Adjudicator, while Shreeya S Shekar broke as an adjudicator and was a panelist in the Novice finals.
Additionally, Ayushman Somani had the honor of being an Invited Adjudicator. To wrap up our achievements, Shruti Deb was one of the Core Adjudicators for the tournament, and Sucharita Rao, alumni of DSNLU, was also an Invited Adjudicator. It was a very fruitful tournament that saw DSNLU’s contingent sweep away most of the awards in what was a moment of pride for the college and its students.
