Dialysis Unit at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Waltair was inaugurated
|
A newly outsourced Dialysis Unit at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Waltair was inaugurated on 17th October 2025 by Shri Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair, and Smt. Joshna Bohra, President, East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECORWWO/Waltair).
The new unit has been established through SAP Medicals, Hyderabad, under the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) initiative, ensuring transparent and efficient outsourcing. This facility is aimed at providing improved renal care services to railway beneficiaries and their dependents, enhancing the overall medical infrastructure of the division.
The inaugural function was attended by Shri Shantaram, ADRM (Infrastructure), ADRM (Operations), Branch Officers, Doctors, and the entire medical and paramedical staff of Divisional Railway Hospital/Waltair.
The introduction of this Dialysis Unit marks another important facility in Waltair Division’s efforts to provide quality healthcare facilities to its employees and their families.
